Drafted Map
I made our concept map. I didn't know if we'd decided for sure what the project was actually going to be, live museum or some sort of filmed product, but I figure the process of getting there would be basically the same either way, and it would just be the end product that varied. I made it with suggestions for both projects, so we can just delete the bubbles for whichever one we choose to drop. So, I'll be emailing that to you so that you can review and make suggestions. I won't post it until tomorrow night probably around 10 pm.

I'm voting for the technology driven project. I think that we need to add to the concept map what grade/s we are planning for. Other than that, it looks great!
ReplyDeleteYes I agree. Another idea I think we could incorporate into the map under the daily log is an evaluation of the information they have obtained. Is the information found from a primary or secondary source? For the grade I am thinking between fifth and sixth grade.

ReplyDeleteMeg, I agree that the tech driven plan is most appropriate. I also think 6th will work well. I looked at the GLCEs and if you look at 6- HI.2.1, it talks about learning how historians use information about the past, and I think we could use that GLCE to validate our project for this grade. And I will add the source information to the log idea. Thanks for the feedback :)
