Hi everyone, sorry I havent been on here. try to get on as much as I can many big projects due this week. Very overwhelming. For this website, Im still very confused about it. Jessica, do you have skype to where we can communicate with one another for a video chat. if not I know that this blog has an instant messanger, so we can communicate back and forth there if you have the time too.

I do have a Skype account. I could have used it today for the meeting! Darn. My Skype name is jessica.k.crowley and if you want to pick a time for tomorrow afternoon I may be able to get on and talk to you, but honestly I'm still quite confused as well. This project seems rather unclear to me...
ReplyDeleteAfter talkig with meg, she helped out a lot. I sent you an email with our group account. We are going to place the website under that name instead of mine. I created the website under my name and didnt create a group account. I am doing the sources page and the podcast page. I will be doing an activity with the architect of buildings. How they have changed throughout the years and materials used, etc. The website is looking great though. Ill being working on the website for the rest of the evening. so if you need any help, let me know and ill try and help to the best of by ability.
ReplyDeleteJessica, what are you still confused about? What you have done so far looks great! I just keep looking back at the outline, the examples and the rubric. (the rubric for this one is huge!). Let me know if I can help at all. I am going to the movies with my family, then I'll be back working on the site.
ReplyDeleteI'm just really stumped about what to do for my second page. Do we still need a standards page, or should I do an ePals page? I want to make a page that fits the requirements and makes sense with the rest of the site. If I do a standards page, would I go through and add links throughout the site that bring you to a page that displays the standards addressed through each assignment?
Deleteoh... The rubric says the standards need to be on the home page?
DeleteKara is doing the standards page. It does say that... I'll have to figure out how to include them there.

I am now really not sure about how much more time I will have to work on this... I need my parts done tonight! There has been a death in my family and I have to travel to Ohio in the morning. I will of course, take my computer... but time will be really tight.
I will take care of the page that specifically relates to the project we've been working on. Should we keep the pages that show the digital stories, lesson plans, etc exclusively and I can just create links that go to those pages? Or should I just get rid of those pages and add those things into my page? Either way, I will leave them for now, but we may want to consider removing them eventually.
